Dr. Nandan Marathe completed his MBBS and MS Orthopedics [Gold Medallist with distinction] from the renowned KEM Hospital, Mumbai. He pursued his special interest in spine surgery and completed a 1-year clinical fellowship in complex spine surgery and spine deformities at the University of Toronto, Canada. He has in addition trained in Spinal Tumors at Instituto Orthopedico Rizzoli, Minimally invasive and Endoscopic Spine Surgery in South Korea.

He completed the prestigious AOSpine fellowship at Stavya Spine Hospital, Ahmedabad, and the Indo-American Spine Alliance fellowship at Indian Spinal Injuries Centre, New Delhi. During his training, he has been mentored by various stalwarts in the field of spine surgery, both in India and abroad.
